Blueberry Basil Popsicle Recipe

HOMEMADE FROZEN TREATS from The Garden : Homemade Popsicles!

EASY Homemade Blueberry Basil Popsicle Recipe:

-3 cups of blueberries
-1 1/2 cups Basil Simple Syrup (recipe below)
-Dash of salt
-3 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
-2 to 3 teaspoons of water

-Place all ingredients in a blender and purée. Pour blueberry basil mixture into molds and freeze for at least 8 hours, & ENJOY these Ice Pops!!!

-Basil Simple Syrup: In a saucepan mix 1 1/2 cups organic cane sugar, 1 1/2 cups water, and 2 basil stalks and bring to a simmer, let the mixture simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, cover and let the basil mixture cool. Once it has cooled down, strain the basil simple syrup to remove the basil. Makes 1 1/2 to 2 cups. Homemade Blueberry Basil Popsicles!

It is already super hot here in the southeast, and right now we have blueberries coming out our ears!! So I decided to make this super easy & super refreshing summertime frozen treat from our garden, Blueberry Basil Popsicles!

These homemade popsicles are so easy to make & that hint of basil from the basil simple syrup really separates this popsicle from your typical blueberry popsicle. I guarantee you these homemade popsicles will not last long! One of the best frozen treats that I have ever had!
