Buying my first ever bitshares step by step guide

Eventually, I plan to be turning my bitshares into pornd tokens. The launch of pornd is right around the corner now, so we are getting ready by showing our support for that work being done as we speak.

If you're like me, chances are you haven't ever used bitshares before. This was the first time for me, and everytime I join a new exchange it always seems like I've got to go through the same process of learning how to make a transaction.

So, you're likely familiar with the blocktrades process of exchanging currency. This is a good thing!

When you are attempting to purchase pornd tokens it is important to note that you want to be transfering bitshares into your bitshare wallet. I made the mistake of transfering btc into my wallet. Having made the assumption that I could convert that currency within my bitshares wallet.

Well, that was wrong. So please learn from my mistake and dont' throw your hard earned crypto down the drain.

From here is really quite simple, once you've got that understanding.

Well, as I write this post. It turns out I really didn't know what I was doing!

open.btc is the currency that bitshares transfers to automatically for use on that trade.

I didn't know about this, and ended up losing my "open".btc
