The only way to do that is to jump in at the deep end.. This pic is actually my first ever pic of working with anyone that wasnt my wife and kids... Its the best way to get a feel of what its like working with people you dont know and also helps to improve your skills.. My advice is to just go for it!

They dont call it a nifty fifty for nothing ;) You should seriously consider the Sony A6 range, the A6000, A6300 and A6500 are all superb cameras capable of shooting amazing video and photos.. And it to your Steem wishlist :)

Yes would love a Sony but kinda of invested into canon got a few lens's. I quite like the idea of mirrorless :P

Haha I get it... Canon is great for photos but in the budgetish range of cameras imo the video is sucky compared to the mirrorless Sony cameras...
