Good Day #steemians,
Today was a pretty warm day here in Southern California and I still put on some more heat with my "Carnitas Burrito with Frijoles, Papas Fritas, Savoya, Cilantro and Chili Verde... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Doesn't that sound Awesome and HOT!!!
Carnitas is pork that is boiled tell done then shredded and fried in a flat pan or in a dip frier. So Papas Fritas are fried potato wedges. Frijoles are pinto beans boiled in water, smashed and then refried in a frying pan with a little bit of oil. Savoya is Onion chopped up nice and thin and Cilantro is just Cilantro... LoL!!! The Chii Verde (or Green Chili) was made with Tomatillos (or little green tomatoes) that are roasted on a flat pan, peeled and put into a blender to liquidize them. Then you would add Diced onion and cilantro, Serrano chili (or chili to your liking and heat handling) topped off with a little bit of lime or lemon juice (Maybe Half a lemon or on whole lime). All blended in the mixer and served so you may put as much or as little as you desire on your burrito. Stuff all of this into a large warmed up flour tortilla and BAM!!! You are ready to Munch Dawn!!!
