"My 2020: Just a normal day: My beautiful family ".

in posh •  5 years ago

The day starts at 5:15 am, I thank God for life and now I walk to the water pump to activate it and wash my face, then I make coffee and prepare breakfast for my beloved family, consisting of my beautiful wife (@syllem) and my two children; Ambar and Emir.

The breakfast can be bread with cheese and coffee, but today it was time to make arepa with cheese and egg for Ámbar, the others additionally have fried banana.

For the kids' snack I prepared a chocolate brownie, according to the instructions my wife and kids give me:

*Three tablespoons of wheat flour

  • Three tablespoons of sugar
  • Two tablespoons of butter
  • Two tablespoons of chocolate
  • A spoonful of water
  • An egg

And to beat it enough to then put it in the microwave for three (3) minutes and that's it.

My wife supervises that the kids get dressed and have everything for school.

All set we board the car to go to my mom's house where my son is staying. My wife and daughter continue to San Tomé where they each work and study. Then I take a route to El Tigre with another brother and sister-in-law who work in the city hospital and from there I go to my office which is close by.

At work I check and answer emails, make and answer work calls. It's a smooth day with no meetings or audits. It goes on until 11:45 AM when I turn off my laptop, turn on my lights, and close my office to take the tour back to my sister-in-law and brother, taking them home.

Whoever gets home first prepares lunch, today it was my turn, an easy dish, pasta and grilled chicken, my princess' favorite menu, we usually have lunch at the table, sometimes we go to the room to eat watching TV. What is never missing is the thanks and blessing before the meal.

Temporarily my brother is taking my son Emir to his school (he has the afternoon shift). At about 4:00 PM, I go to San Tomé to pick him up. On the way back I am making a stop at my beloved mother's house to fill some bottles of water so that we can maintain the water level in our tank, motivated by the fact that the pump of the water well that supplies the area where we live was failing and the town hall is maintaining it. We pray to God that they will do so soon.

When I get home, my son Emir puts on his karate uniform and I take him to his training from 5:30 to 7 PM. While he is in his class, I take the opportunity to buy bread and cheese. Then I start walking around the soccer field, which I enjoy and helps me relax. When we finish we go home, where @syllem waits for us with the dinner he prepared after attending his dance therapy routine from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Today we had the joy of eating some nice patacones.

After a shower we start watching TV, while the kids go out to play with the neighbors for a while. At the end of the night I water the plants, especially the spring onion, chili and paprika plants that are barely growing. In today's Venezuela we are learning to apply alternatives to yield and save money.

At the end, I turn off the water pump and enjoy the moment when @syllem in the company of the children read (so they practice reading) the chapters of the Bible that they play in sequence. It is important to mention that these minutes are thanks to the desire, energy and willingness of my wife to impart the word in our home. Although my children ask her to do it in her room, she prefers to do it in our room to include me, which is a woman's love, and I love her more.

If I tell them about a weekend we have to add the routine of going to the market to do the shopping of the week, there we go with my brother and my mother who walk several places to find the best prices so we can make a little money, lunch is always at my mother's house where we all share.
