Positive thinking is a mood that could easily trick the heart. At difficult times, when thinking about and acting on positive thoughts, the mind can be controlled to relax and help see the big picture. People always assume that only those who are logical and have a practical or realistic approach to life are successful. But this is not quite true. Being logical, practical or realistic is important for success, but staying positive and focused is just as important. If Jobs had left room for negative thoughts, we wouldn't have seen the iPod and iPhone that are famous today.

Negativity in life depletes all the good things in a man. Positivity can change the life you live and help you create your future that is more fulfilling and worth living. Everyone has a dream that is not lived because of the negative influence of people around us or taught by them. Worst of all is; Most of the time people fail in life because they don't have the courage to live their dream by fearing failure. You have to adopt an attitude that gives the prospect of seeing failures as positive steps towards success. Steps must be taken to train the brain to view failures as positive points that make them strong.

JK Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter book series did not get rich overnight. She had to face 15 refusals of the first book before accepting publication. She was a then recently divorced single mother, unemployed and penniless. She had enough reasons to be a failure, but it was a positive thought and the ability to see the big picture despite the obstacle that made her richer than the Queen of England.

Our brains are designed to give instructions on our daily activities. It was our thought processes that derived the formula and asked the brain to dictate actions. We are masters and we can always change the rules and ignore the nagging negative voice we have voiced over the years. But a positive attitude is not something you can gain immediately. Negativity and pessimism is more like an illness that needs to be cured over a period of time with effective training. Failures and negative feedback didn't stop Thomas Edison from inventing many things, including the light bulb. He faced over 1000 failures before he was able to light a light bulb.

To develop positive thinking, one must always make conscious choices and decisions and never let predetermined thoughts take the course of action. The decision you make should focus only on the big picture. The mind is trained to believe certain things and ignore certain things such as "too good to be true". Stephenie Meyer, a famous novelist for the Twilight book series refused to publish them when friends asked her to do so because the story was good. It was only after being persuaded by a close friend that she sent it to 15 literary houses to be ignored by 9 and rejected by 5. One person agreed to publish and today they would have earned 40 million dollars thanks to this one set of books. It is true that while the people around us can negatively impact our thoughts and our lives, they can also do the same in a positive way. Try to stay away from people who say you can't.
Seeing a bigger picture and creating a better future for yourself is difficult, but not impossible. The secret recipe is positive thinking.

Most people fail in personal life because they failed in professional life and vice versa. But that doesn't apply to people who are believers. With positive thinking, you might not become a millionaire overnight, but you will be happy and satisfied with what you have at the end of the day.
