2nd #Positivitychallenge: Family Is Forever!

"Walang forever ", as often quoted by the millennials. No equation nor formula is potent enough to make something last, as they put it.

I disagree with this phenomenal statement.

Forever is not only meant for marriage, nor only for lovers, which is often connoted bitterly that no relationship last forever. Whew! I don't get it how these youngsters' mind worked nowadays. Or perhaps they just have been clearly influenced by their idol celebrities who portrayed this kind of fantasy.

I tell you though that the concept of 'forever' is real and true. Its the same as how the sun rise and set each day forever. The cycle of the day and night. The constant rotation and revolution of the earth. And ofcourse each dawn is a reminder that we have our God Almighty to thank for everyday, and each day is a journey with Him towards forever.

From ashes we start, to ashes we will depart.

Our body may wither but the legacy that we will bring will forever instill in the hearts and minds of those who know us.

Today, with my 2nd #positivitychallenge, I will gladly impart to you dear readers what "forever" means to me.

This is what I call my "forever. "

In our family, my siblings and I are often called the 'tres marias' because we are all girls. Our five years gap each did not hinder us to share secrets, crushes, sentiments and even our dreams in life when we were younger. Even with different families now, we are still very close to each other.

This was taken during my 30th birthday last April despite the fact that both sisters of mine are in a family way, they travelled three long hours from our hometown just to be with me that day. Mama and Papa made it extra special for being around too.

Family is forever indeed. We have been together through the thick and thin. We got each others arms for comfort and shoulders to lean on. It's a special bond that nobody can ever break. And for all these, I'm most grateful to God for giving the most wonderful family who share the same tears and laughters with me.

Just a while ago, Mama message me that my youngest sister is already in the hospital and now expecting her baby. Seems I can't contain my excitement too for I am planning to rush a ride and be the first Tita to cuddle her bundle of joy in my arms.

Hope everything is just okay and she will have a safe and sound delivery.

Moreover, may the closeness between us be continued by our children and the next children that may come to our lives.
