postmodern fiction

Pynchon, Delillo, Gaddis, Wallace, Vonnegut, McCarthy... anybody else read this stuff? I haven't read fiction in a long time, but I was watching a yale course online about novels, interesting way to pass the time. I can never read a novel more than about 300 pages without skipping pages, at some point the author or editor invariably gets lazy. With this in mind, just read:

Underworld - Delillo

The Pale King - DFW

looking to stay on a reading jag until i knock off a few more authors... and my pedestrian library gets transferred the books i need.
