Tradition of singing Shlok in Hindu Tradition, Wedding ceremony

At the wedding ceremony in Hindu tradition in Nepal, two families in laws singing some traditional songs i.e. shlok ( Sanskrit poetry).

This picture was taken four years ago on my cousins marriage ceremony.
