Faith Quote: For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline

Through the Spirit we enter the Kingdom of God, and this charism, which is the very substance of God, the apostle Paul describes in a very brief way: "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline", 2 Timothy 1:7.
And these spiritual gifts, which describe the spirit, are necessary because times are difficult, the apostle Paul describes to us the wickedness of the end times and the people who will mostly live during this short period: "People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power.", 2 Timothy 3:2-5.

And these men will follow false teachers: "For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.", 2 Timothy 4:3-4.
This is why the grace of God must be according to these times: "But where sin increased, grace increased all the more", Romans 5:20. And this spirit that Paul describes to us is a spirit with love, power and dominion, a spirit that must be faithful to the teaching received, the word of God necessary for salvation: "All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.", 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
