For the last little while you may have seen the odd post here and there from myself, my partner @zord189 and also possibly from some of our members about our upcoming transformation from “The Steemit Bloggers” to The Power House Creatives. Well, today was moving day and everybody who has proven themselves to be an asset to our amazing community has been sent their invite to our new server via DM. The invites are only valid for a 24hour period, so if you only get to it after that period you will need to contact me directly for a new one.

GENERAL INFO

I thought I would put this post out not only to make the cross over known to everyone on the platform, but also to clarify a few details and grab the attention of those that may not have popped into discord today. So, today – the 7th January 2019 marks the start of our new journey in our new home. Please note that the original Steemit Bloggers server will be deleted on the 14th January. @zord189 and I have so much more we want to do with our shiny new space, so this is just the beginning – but we know how excited everyone has been to make the change and we didn’t want to keep you all waiting any longer… so we thought we would open our doors to you, let you explore the new space and share in the enthusiasm. The rest of the changes and additions will be made as we go along.

COMMUNITY PAGE & DELEGATIONS

Whilst we will be known as The Power House Creatives from this point forward – for now, our community account will remain with the @steemitbloggers extension – so all delegations and autovotes can remain unchanged until further notice. I have decided leave it like this for now as it will allow people to create the association between the two brands. The same goes for our external pages and feeds on Facebook and Twitter where we regularly share our members posts. I have submitted a name change request from Facebook and am waiting to see if that gets approved. If not, then we will make the decision whether to start new pages and direct followers there or simply to keep the existing pages and handles, but with the new branding. I will make that decision once I have heard from facebook.

NEW MEMBERS

As our entire existing community has now walked into a new space, I will not be inviting in ANY new members for a little while. I want to allow time for everybody to adjust to the new space and the structural changes, as well as to somewhat “complete our vision” for now, before we have a growth spurt again.

NEW TAG AND FOOTERS

From this point forward it is ESSENTIAL that all our members PLEASE update their footers and start making use of our new tag #powerhousecreatives. I will NOT be scouring the old tag for community support anymore, so if you don’t make the change then you are going to be missing out on support opportunities.

POST SHARING

As you have all seen within our new walls – we are now working at incorporating ALL social media and blogging platforms – so this includes the decentralised platforms as well as the more commercialised ones. As far as your community “obligations” go – they remain unchanged for now. So the additional channels are there for you to casually share content from your other feeds, affording members the “option of” supporting you there too – but again – is not in any way compulsory.

COMMUNITY DELEGATIONS

Although we only opened our new doors a couple of hours ago – we have already had some wonderfully generous delegations from members, so a VERY big thank you for those. Every little bit counts and if you would like to make a delegation to show your support for our amazing little family, then please make use of the delegation links in the footer of this post.

For now, I think that is about it! No doubt we will have a few more updates here and there as we move forward – but for now, to those that have hopped on… welcome to your new home – 2019 I going to be an awesome year for all of us! MWAH!!!
