WARNING (PLEASE READ THIS BLOSSICK SHIPPERS):
This screenshot de-motivational poster is Anti-Blossick. If you like this pairing, either avert your eyes and do not read it or swallow your bias and feel free to read on while keeping an open mind. Once again, if you do not want to see me roasting or crapping on your beloved pair, I highly suggest you do not read this at all and take what I say with a grain of salt, as these are my opinions.
ANTI-BLOSSICK FANS AND ANTI-BLOSSICK SHIPPERS
Let us all revel in the Blossick roasting and toasting, as I give my reasons as to why I cannot stand this overrated RuffPuff couple.
Here a Blossick. There a Blossick. Everywhere a BlosSICK! When is this whole craze of the Reds going to stop?! It is driving me up a wall with how over-loved the Reds are as a couple! In spite of that, if there are a couple of good things I can say about Blossick, they would have to be, at least Brick and Blossom have a lot of differences that might make them a legitimate item for the shippers but I just see Brick and Blossom as close comrades and best friends. Secondly, at least they can use their differences and combat prowess to their advantage to overcome anything. Other than that, those are the only good aspects about Blossick that I can still tolerate.
Before I start the Blossick evisceration, I used to ship it when I was a lot younger and I thought this as well as the other color-coded couples were the be all, end all set of couples. Now, as a 27-year-old man, I have ended up become more than euphoric to leave the Blossick bandwagon once and for all, to the point where I will never draw them as a couple. So, please do not request my to draw anything Blossick anymore because of I cannot bring myself to feel inspired by this "pairing" anymore. Perhaps, I might continue drawing Blossick platonically but I have completely given up on this overrated couple to the point where I feel badly drained.
With that said, I would like to expound on why I believe Blossick will not work in my eyes and why I believe their relationship will not end up as a fruitful one, hence me branding Blossick as karmic soulmates.
Brick and Blossom have egos the size of several mountain ranges.
I cannot see Brick and Blossom in a great relationship and it all has to do with their huge egos, massive pride, and bad habit of insisting too many times of what they think is right. Speaking of egos and pride, just because they have strong personalities, does not mean they will be able to find common ground with each other or find any form of compensation when all is said and done. Every agreement they come upon will only end up being spun out of its wheels and its back to square one. Furthermore, their egos will not only control them on the outside but will also consume them on the inside because of how many times they would put themselves on a pedestal. Speaking of going back to square one.Brick and Blossom would be doomed to repeat unhealthy patterns.
This correlates to their massive egos, stubbornness to listen to any sort of feedback and/or their constant insisting that either of them are correct. One can only imagine that the Reds would have a difficult time with fixing any problem without getting themselves into many arguments, especially over the pettiest of matters. While Brick's large-and-in-charge personality and Blossom's class and intelligence can make them capable of hooking up, it will all fall down when personality clashes, stubbornness, nagging, and redundancy of their bad habits come into play.Brick and Blossom would end up controlling towards each other to the point of digging their own quagmires.
Knowing that they are the designated eldest of their respective groups of siblings, even though both parties are triplets, it should come off as no surprise that their controlling personalities will end up showing its true colors towards each other. Through this necessity to control everything in their way comes a buildup of unnecessary stress, stifling animosity, having too many hot and heavy moments, and crashing into them being completely drained. Ergo, everything they try to control will end up flying directly to their faces.Brick and Blossom can push each others' buttons.
How many times do we have to see Brick try to get under Blossom's skin with his ego, machismo, and overly big personality and Blossom get under Brick's skin with her insisting, snootiness, and big headedness? My point exactly. These two will not stop until one gives up. It also does not help that their competitiveness will end up becoming hot and heavy should they end up in a relationship.Brick and Blossom run the risk of becoming selfish.
Egos, arguing, bickering, stress, and ending up completely drained aside, what is going to permeate this sham of a relationship is how selfish both Brick and Blossom would end up becoming. All of these negative traits the Reds bear will end up mutating into inescapable selfishness to the point where they will not end up thinking about each other and only think of themselves, thus taking each other for granted.Brick's and Blossom's relationship will not last long.
With everything I have listed down, this is the straw that finally broke the camel's back. Ask yourselves this. Would you want to find yourselves in a relationship where your egos rub off against each other causing so much unnecessary friction? Would you want to find yourselves in a constant state of competitiveness without any form of respite? Would you want to see everything you have worked on together fall apart because of over-insisting? Why is Blossick any different? When you cut down to the bone of how much Blossick will fail in a relationship, it shows how short their relationship will truly be. All it will end up becoming is nothing more than a sham at worst and an extremely short fling at best.
In conclusion, Brick and Blossom may be fine as best friends and wonderful comrades but put the Reds in a relationship and there is a chance that they will not have any form of peace with each other and the walls the Reds thought they built together will all come tumbling down. Moreover, do not request me to draw anything Blossick-related, unless it is platonic or if I feel like it, because I have shipped them once when I was young and nowadays I never want to deal with the Reds again.
