I will say this once and I will say this again. I am a proud and utterly devoted color-clash RuffPuff shipper and fan. I love talking, or in this case, writing about Brickercup, Butchubbles, and Blossoomer and their relationship patterns. I am utterly fascinated by how wonderfully they function as couples. I am ecstatic of how healthy, fulfilling, and profound each of their relationships is. I enjoy drawing fanart centered around my most esteemed and beloved Blossoomer, my awesome and epic Brickercup, and my sweet and endearing Butchubbles. I feel extremely inspired to keep on drawing the twelve Blossoomer children, twelve elder Brickercup children, and twelve Butchubbles children with pride, joy, and enthusiasm. Speaking of which, I really have to thank KatyGorl for not only strengthening my everlasting love for Brickercup but also for further solidifying my love and devotion to Blossoomer and Butchubbles, to the point where her children are in my Team Xtreme universe, albeit as three sets of sextuplets. So, Katy, I really cannot thank you enough for being so inspiring and absolutely motivating in terms of my enthusiasm for the color-clash couples.
As stated before, my whole headcanon revolving around these three main couples of the Rowdyruff x Powerpuff shipping universe is mainly an alternate universe situation, where Mr. Green, Professor Utonium, Ms. Bellum, and Ms. Keane did start out as superheroes but after endeavors such as settling for each other and having careers revolving around science, education, and politics, they lived rather quiet lives until their children were born. Ergo, Brick, Butch, and Boomer are Mr. Green's and Mrs. Bellum-Green's eldest sons, and Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles are Professor Utonium's and Mrs. Keane-Utoniums eldest daughters, and they all started out as childhood sweethearts. Basically, think what would happen if you were to combine The Incredibles with Justice League and Teen Titans, and you get what my AU for the Ruffs, the Puffs, and their families would look like. Now that we have talked about my overall, general headcanon for how the Ruffs and Puffs ended up teaming up, let us now talk about these main super couples.
Boomer x Blossom: Elegance, Beauty, Class, Poise, Compassion, and Kindness Rolled into One Amazing Package
It seemed absolutely pre-destined that Boomer and Blossom were going to end up having a strong, beautiful, and exceptional relationship with each other. Sure, when they were still toddlers, they did have a pretty nice friendship going on with Boomer usually sharing his sweets with Blossom and Blossom sharing her books with Boomer. However, as Boomer reached 7 years old and Blossom reached 5 years old back in late 1997, they were the first ones to show any genuine feelings for each other.
It all came to a head in early 1998, when 7 going on 8-year-old Boomer and 5 going on 6-year-old Blossom finally affirmed their appreciation and love for each other and have become extremely supportive each other in every single endeavor. Boomer has always aided Blossom in helping her to calm down whenever she is stressed, tapped into her creative side, seen the best in her, and acknowledged just how brave, strong, compassionate, and diplomatic she was as a superheroine and as a person. Meanwhile, Blossom has always supported Boomer with his academics, self-esteem, and drive to be his own person. They have even proved themselves so well in the battlefield with Boomer's super strength, super speed, and lightning powers complimenting Blossom's lethal accuracy, phenomenal timing, and ice powers in such a miraculously harmonious symphony.
When Boomer was between the ages of 13 to 15 and Blossom was between the ages of 11 and 13, they were starting to be at the height of their relationships with the both of them expressing a love and passion for French chansons, both European and Asian culture, fine art, classical music, chamber music, indie music, folk music, theater, visits to the museum, and even visits to restaurants specializing in French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese cuisine. In terms of music, Boomer was and will always rock the guitar with the greatest of ease and Blossom was and will always be an absolute mistress of the piano. Aside from their cultural endeavors, they even got themselves into volleyball, swimming, diving, track and field, Tae Kwon Do, karate, judo, boxing, kickboxing, and triathlons, even though Boomer was also into football, soccer, and basketball and Blossom was into gymnastics, biology, chemistry, physics, and world literature. They were even at their apex in their relationship affirmation when Boomer was 17 and Blossom was 15 during one winter ball back in 2007, especially when Boomer gave Blossom a locket containing a picture of both of them when they were still in their pre-teens.
While Boomer's and Blossom's relationship showed a lot of strength and loyalty, things turned out for the shocking back in the winter of 2009, when it was discovered that 17-year-old Blossom was pregnant with sextuplets. Boomer kept his word as her greater equal, and swore to her that he will make for a great husband to her and an equally great father to their children. Straight after Boomer graduated from his first year of college and Blossom graduated the eleventh grade, they ended up getting married in the Townsville Church on May 19, 2010. They even had their honeymoon in France where they went to Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, and Marseille to the point where on July 25, 2010, Blossom gave birth to Bloom Amanda Green, Brittney Jane Green, Beauregard Alain Green, Brian Matthew Green, Becca Danielle Green, and Bella Donna Green in Marseille. Even though Boomer and Blossom were parents to their first six set of children, Boomer was still able to go through college well, and Blossom was able to graduate high school in May 2011 as the valedictorian.
Now with Boomer at age 29 and having a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Multimedia, Film, and Musicology and Blossom at age 27 and having a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, they are the proud parents of 9-year-old sextuplets Bloom, Brittney, Beau, Brian, Becky, and Bella and 8-year-old sextuplets Basil Ferdinand Green, Bramley Frederick Green, Bartholomew Damien "Bart" Green, Brenton Demetrius Green, Blanchefleur "Blanche" Francoise Green, and Blandine Fabienne Green. Their children express a love for culture, music, and fine art with Beau, Brian, Basil, and Bramley being avid music fans whether they are playing different musical instruments or singing art songs, Bloom and Bart expressing a passion for biology, chemistry, fashion, and painting, Brittney and Brenton having a love for writing, Becky having a love for manga, anime, and Japanese films, Bella having a love for ballet, gymnastics, and track and field, and Blanche and Blandine having a love for playing the guitar and singing in choirs. In fact, all twelve of Boomer's and Blossom's children are now the members of the children's chorus of the Townsville Opera House while balancing that with crime fighting, their other creative and scientific endeavors, and school.
Overall, Boomer and Blossom are going to gracefully and wonderfully grow old together, and the support and synergy present within each other are off the charts.
Brick x Buttercup: Resilience, Determination, Rambunctiousness, Fierceness, Toughness, and Endurance Combined into One Exciting Symphony
It was rather inevitable that Brick and Buttercup were going to end up together as a couple, but fate seemed to align them well in terms of how well they worked with each other and were utterly inseparable. As toddlers, they seemed to enjoy roughhousing with each other and always loved to play pranks on the other children at the nursery. Even back in late 1997 when Brick was 7 and Buttercup was 5, they were still quite tight in their prank-playing and rambunctiousness, even though they did not really think about ending up together.
That fateful day came in early 1998, when 7 going on 8-year-old Brick and 5 going on 6-year-old Buttercup started to gain feelings for each other and appreciated each other for who they are. Brick appreciated how Buttercup was not like any other girls he met, and enjoyed how strong, tough, resilient, rambunctious, and outspoken she was. While Buttercup indubitably gave Brick a lot of respect and admiration for his large-and-in-charge personality, determination, resilience, and his never-give-up attitude. Brick always helped Buttercup with keeping focused with her attacks and helped her to become a much better fighter, while Buttercup made sure that Brick's ego did not end up consuming him by reminding him that he does not have to place himself up a pedestal all the time. To make things better, Brick and Buttercup always saw that they had a lot in common in terms of how much they enjoyed kicking butt, fighting baddies, and giving their foes their signature double whammy knuckle sandwiches. To prove themselves as Team Xtreme's most dynamic combatants and overall couple, Brick and Buttercup would always collaborate in terms of giving felons their due punishment with Brick using his super strength, military tactics, super speed, and fire powers and Buttercup using her super strength, unwavering combat prowess, resilience, and earth powers to give felons bruises and burns they will never forget.
When Brick was between the ages of 13 and 15 and Buttercup was between the ages of 11 and 13, they began to be fully committed to their relationship with the both of them expressing a huge love for sports, extreme sports such as rollerblading, skateboarding, surfing, and snowboarding, martial arts, heavy metal music, death metal music, and watching a lot of wrestling, football, and MMA both on television and watching these events live. In terms of sports, Brick was the MVP of the basketball, soccer, football, baseball, wrestling, karate, judo, and Tae Kwon Do teams. While Buttercup was the MVP of the volleyball, soccer, hockey, judo, jujitsu, karate, Tae Kwon Do, and lacrosse teams. One winter ball back in 2007 when Brick was 17 and Buttercup was 15, Brick had the honor of giving Buttercup a bracelet with a small picture of them on the center to fully solidify their relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend.
To Brick's and Buttercup's surprise one winter in 2009, it was discovered that 17-year-old Buttercup was pregnant with sextuplets. 19-year-old Brick assured Buttercup that he will easily make a great husband to her and an equally great father to their children. Initially, the thought of having children did turn Buttercup off because she never saw herself as the mother type. However, Brick assured her that she will make an awesome mother, and he also assured her that he was always going to be there to help her and the children build their happy, healthy home. After Brick graduated from his first year of college and Buttercup graduated from the eleventh grade, they ended up getting married in the Townsville Church on May 19, 2010. They even had their honeymoon in Oahu, Hawaii where Buttercup also gave birth to Bradford "Brad" Tyrone Green, Bruce Warren Green, Bailee Christina "BC Jr." Green, Beatrice Elizabeth "Bea" Green, Brett Rupert Green, and Bridget Melissa Green. Parenthood at such a young age may have been a bit of a drain for Brick and Buttercup, but that never stopped them from respectively going through college and even, in Buttercup's case, graduating from Townsville High in May 2011 with honors.
Now with Brick at age 29 and having a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Physical Education, Mechanics, and Physics and Buttercup at age 27 and having a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Physical Education, Nutrition, and Health and Fitness, they are the proud parents of 9-year-old sextuplets Brad, Bruce, Bailee, Bea, Brett, and Bridget and 8-year-old sextuplets Baxter Travis Green, Blaster Torvald Green, Braxton Hugh Green, Buckley Harley Green, Brooklyn Evangeline Green, and Braelyn Elaine Green. Their children love to get rough, physical, and active with all types of combat sports, ball sports, and many physical activities. Brad, Bruce, Baxter, and Blaster love sparring with each other in Tae Kwon Do, karate, judo, wrestling, boxing, kickboxing, jujitsu, Muay Thai, and mixed martial arts, thus making them have a great ambition to fight in all of the tournaments when they grow up. Bailee loves to play baseball, tennis, and badminton. Bea enjoys volleyball, baseball, rollerblading, and skateboarding. Brett is so passionate about karate, judo, and Tae Kwon Do. Bridget has a knack for skateboarding, bungee jumping, snowboarding, surfing, and rollerblading. Braxton and Buckley love wrestling, boxing, and jujitsu so much. Finally, Brooklyn and Braelyn love track and field, volleyball, basketball, and rollerblading. Ergo, Brick's and Buttercup's children are an army of large-and-in-charge, determined, resilient fighters and athletes.
Brick and Buttercup continue to maintain that strong, steadfast relationship, and their personalities have definitely passed down to their children. Ergo, they are truly inseparable.
Butch x Bubbles: Adorability, Protection, Loyalty, Kindness, Strength, Gorgeousness, and Synergy Merged into One Harmonious Ensemble
What started off as a crush on Bubbles' side and an extremely nervous reaction on Butch's side grew into a loving relationship based on trust, kindness, and unconditional love. As toddlers, Bubbles always seemed to be very playful with Butch, which made him rather reluctant to play with her. Nevertheless, he relented, and he kind of enjoyed having Bubbles as his playmate. In late 1997, when Butch reached 7 and Bubbles reached 5, they began to play with each other a lot more.
Come early 1998, and 7 going on 8-year-old Butch and 5 going on 6-year-old Bubbles fully affirmed their love for each other, even though it was at the puppy love stage complete with trips to the forest with some animals and a handful of trail mix lovingly prepared by Bubbles. Butch may not have wanted other schoolmates to witness it but he really liked Bubbles because of how kind, understanding, sweet, funny, cute, and merciful she was as well as how much he loved to see Bubbles kicking every monster's butt. Meanwhile, Bubbles always enjoyed how protective, attentive, supportive, and selfless Butch was, especially when he kept helping her beat up monsters and saved her from said monsters. Moreover, they kept on surprising their opponents with how well they worked together with Butch using his super strength, muscles, and wind powers to give them a huge beating and Bubbles using her speed, combat prowess, and water powers to incapacitate them. Therefore, the perpetrators will see to it that they will not provoke Butch and Bubbles in any way, shape or form.
By the time Butch was between the ages of 13 and 15 and Bubbles was between the ages of 11 and 13, their commitment to each other reached a whole new high, especially considering the countless times Bubbles has found herself being the cheerleader to her darling Butchie in every sport that he played in. In terms of sports, Butch was an avid wrestler, karateka, judoka, Tae Kwon Do practitioner, weightlifter, basketball player, baseball player, football player, soccer player, swimmer, and runner. As for Bubbles, not only was she was an extremely avid cheerleader, but she was also big on gymnastics, track and field, figure skating, tennis, badminton, swimming, and ping pong. The only extracurricular activities they would do together as a couple were arts and crafts, theater, Spanish, Japanese, French, Korean, and glee club, which the latter made Butch take advantage of his abilities to play on the drums and Bubbles to use her coloratura soprano voice to great effect. During the winter ball of 2007, 17-year-old Butch gave 15-year-old Bubbles a ring with a tiny picture in the center as a symbol of their everlasting love for each other. It was pretty much a prototype of the wedding ring they ended up giving each other roughly three years later.
Winter approached, and 19-year-old Butch and 17-year-old Bubbles received the shock of their lives when they found out that she was pregnant with sextuplets. Bubbles was absolutely excited of the prospect of having children, while Butch was quite doubtful about it. Nonetheless, he did assure Bubbles that with his strength and his signature toughness, he was going to make sure that his part was done to ensure a great, happy home life full of joy and positivity. By the time Butch graduated from his first year of college and Bubbles graduated the eleventh grade, they ended up getting married in the Townsville Church on May 19, 2010. Moreover, they had their honeymoon in Tokyo, Japan where they not only enjoyed the culture, the lifestyle, all of the anime they could watch, and all of the manga they could read, but also where on July 3, 2010, Bubbles gave birth to Brandon Tristram Green, Buddy Harrison Green, Brea Susannah Green, Bettina Tamara Green, Blithe Rosalie Green, and Bianca Bertha Green. Their prospect of parenthood may have been fulfilled, but that did not stop Butch from getting through college with flying colors and Bubbles from graduating graduating high school with honors in May 2011.
Now with Butch at age 29 and having a Bachelor's and Master's in Engineering, Physical Education, and Nutrition and Bubbles at age 27 and having a Bachelor's and Master's in English Literature, Theater, and Fine Art, they are the proud parents of 9-year-old sextuplets Brandon, Buddy, Brea, Betty, Blithe, and Bibi and 8-year-old sextuplets Blaine Henry Green, Blair Homer Green, Breckin Russell Green, Bowen Roland Green, Brandi Genevieve Green, and Bellamy Gracielle Green. All of their children show a huge interest in the arts, anime, manga, music, nature, and visiting the zoo and animal shelters. Brandon, Buddy, Blaine, and Blair have a great knack for sculpting, weightlifting, playing on their guitars and drums, and singing ballads. Brea loves to paint, sketch, and sculpt as well as go on her roller blades and on her bicycle. Betty loves to run marathons. Blithe enjoys designing dresses, especially for Halloween and Christmas. Bibi has a knack for interpretive dancing and gymnastics. Breckin and Bowen love wrestling, track and field, and football. Finally, Brandi and Bellamy love to sketch interior and exterior designs. Together, Butch's and Bubbles' children are a wonderful army of athletic, well-rounded artists with a huge passion for life.

In conclusion, I am never going to give up my devotion, passion, and undying love for Blossoomer, Brickercup, and Butchubbles nor am I ever going to give up drawing more fanart of these amazing, dynamic, and beautiful couples. It is seriously high time to make the color-clash couples a lot more well-known, and I am very willing to do my part to keep on filling up the Rowdyruff x Powerpuff fandom with more fan works centering around Boomer x Blossom, Brick x Buttercup, and Butch x Bubbles.
