After flying for 145 minutes I finally arrived Prague again - It is my third time I directly visited the Astronomical clock at the town ha

The town hall was in the Gothic style, strikingly fallen, the round and pointed windows on. The construction of the town hall began in 1381, gradually expanding one of these corners the building. Could the city hall look particularly good, especially the view from the city hall tower in the middle of the old town is great.IMG_2154.JPG

The astronomical clock (Orloj) was completed towards the end of the 15th century on the south wall. This is a Written with the other times and no translations available. The picture is from the year 1410. It is always on the other side with different figures in front of the figure of the Grim Reaper. In the 17th century, the clock was extended by moving figures: The well-known procession of the second apostles, which has set in motion every hour on the hour to the sound of bells.

The clock has three different hands: The sun pointer shifts with the sun's passage of the year. The moon's hand indicates the course of the moon and the phases of the moon, turns around its own axis. And finally, the ecliptic for the signs of the zodiac, it shows in which zodiac the sun is currently standing.

The old town hall and the astronomical clock were severely damaged in 1945 during the war. Even feared that the complex clockwork could hardly be restored. After an elaborate restoration of the clock 1948 again in enterprise.

Prague has one of the most wonderful subways and has beautiful walls which are gold, green and red.
Every colour is attached to a diffrent trainline
