Why Israel should get Gaza Strip?

Israel pushed past the original borders that had been decided by the UN because of self-defence and only to protect the people who lived closer to the border. Israel has tried countless times to overlook the differences and proposed a compromise but Palestine didn’t accept any of the proposal.

The PLO or Palestine Liberation Organization who have countless times have harmed the Israeli residents by harassing them. Soon enough the Palestinian residents were frustrated and formed an extremist organization, Hamas, was formed because they thought that the PLO were showing mercy and conducted suicide bombings in order to spread fear. The Israeli military forces replied by killing the militants and suppressing the group to keep them at bay. The only reason they have used violence is to protect the citizens residing near the designated borders.

Israel is still open to compromise but they will not retreat unless they don’t feel like they are being threatened. The “intifadas” were the uprisings that were conducted to gain independence as a state for Palestine but all it did was increase the body count and worsen the situation for the people who want to resolve this situation constructively. There have been 2 “intifadas” and the second one was worser than the first. The UN and America have tried to solve this conflict like the Oslo agreement and the resolution 252 but Palestine seems to not respond to such peaceful compromises.
