In this prank commercial, this Ouija Psychic has a unique ability: she can pop her eyes out at any time. A remotely controlled planchette and a dead person breaking through the floor were added to the mix to create a terrifying psychic reading experience. Hidden cameras captured the whole thing.

It is a trend to promote a horror movie with a prankvertising (a commercial based by prank). It is easy and if it is well done it has viral potential, so less budget needed for the media buying.
Paramount Pictures did a prankvertising directed by Gregory Plotkin. The spot promotes Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension and I can say that it is a successful prank.
There were awesome reactions, reactions that make you laugh.

Here's a pretty cool project from Mullen.The Boston agency posted this job listing online for a "director of operations" position at a company called Rehtom Inc. The requirements sounded nothing short of brutal:
• Standing up almost all the time
• Constantly exerting yourself
• Working from 135 to unlimited hours per week
• Degrees in medicine, finance and culinary arts necessary
• No vacations
• The work load goes up on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's and other holidays
• No time to sleep
• Salary = $0
The job ad got 2.7 million impressions from paid ad placements. Only 24 people inquired. They interviewed via webcam, and their real-time reactions were captured on video.

LG Chile creates the so real Scary campaign developed at Superheroes, Amsterdam, with their own prank, “Ultra Reality: What would you do in this situation?” The video shows an office set up with the World's first 84 inch LG ULTRA HDTV television screen which appears to be a window frame. Job seekers arrive for their interview but freak out when they see what appears to a meteor destroying the city through the window.

In the video, Gordon, disguised as an older man in makeup with a fake mustache and goatee, shows up at a car dealership in Concord, North Carolina. He introduces himself as "Mike" to Steve, the salesman. The salesman notices that Gordon is "gravitated towards the Camaro" and asks him if he is thinking about getting one. Gordon asserts that the vehicle is "way too much car" for him and that he didn't know if he could handle it. The salesman offers Gordon a test drive, which he accepts
