Ingredients:
500g prawns, peeled and deveined
1 large onion, chopped
2 large tomatoes, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 inch piece of ginger, grated
1 green chili, chopped
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 cup of heavy cream
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp red chili powder (optional)
Salt, to taste
Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
In a large saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
Add the chopped onion and cook until they are soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and grated ginger and cook for another minute.
Add the chopped tomatoes and green chili and cook until the tomatoes have broken down and become soft, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the tomato paste and cook for another
Add the prawns and cook until they have turned pink, about 3-5 minutes.
