The Christian prayer taught by Jesus: Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10

The teaching of the Lord's Prayer in the New Testament appears in the gospels of Matthew (Matthew 6:9-13) and Luke (Luke 11:1-4). This prayer taught by Jesus is the Christian prayer par excellence.
With this important spiritual teaching, Jesus explained to the disciples how to enter into communion with the Father and thus ask him for what they need, because God is merciful and does not forget his children, because as Jesus explained: "For your Father knows what you need before you ask him" Matthew 6:8.
And the Lord's Prayer as spiritual invocation is a manifestation of the importance of the fear of God (constancy, firmness, devotion), and that Kingdom that must be realized among men; because when this Kingdom, this dominion or empire of God's perfections, is realized everything else comes in addition.
And prayer especially includes some things, such as daily bread, that is, the minimum sustenance to live, and forgiveness for one's own sins, because no one, not even the wisest, is exempt from error. This Christian prayer is a guide to always keep in mind the humility of Jesus, because without this virtue only pride remains, which is so rejected by God.
With these words, Jesus taught his disciples to pray the Lord's Prayer:
"Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one" Matthew 6:9-13.
Everything comes from the Lord, even the simplest spiritual gifts the gospel of Saint Matthew with wisdom teaches to men, and whoever trusts in the divine providence by praying the Lord's Prayer does not see his hope disappointed.
