Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurological and developmental disorder that begins early in childhood and lasts throughout a person's life. It affects how a person acts and interacts with others, communicates, and learns.
A person with A.S.D. might not be able to preform some sort of task that other people might consider a basic task, but at the same time the same person might be able to preform a task that most people would consider to be difficult.
It is called a "spectrum" disorder because people with ASD can have a range of symptoms. People with ASD might have problems talking with you, or they might not look you in the eye when you talk to them. They may also have restricted interests and repetitive behaviors. They may spend a lot of time putting things in order, or they may say the same sentence again and again. They may often seem to be in their "own world."
In my opinion it would be incorrect to only focus on the limitations of a person without attempting to consider the persons strengths, but I think that it would be a near crime to purposely overlook a persons disabilities. As an example if an elderly person says that they are cold because the window is open, then the elderly person could be handed a jacket. But it would be an incorrect to turn the heat (in the entire nursing home) so the cold person thinks that what they feel is the same as what everyone feels.
So there is a big difference between (within reason) trying to make a mentally impaired person able to function in a non impaired society, but it is insane to think that a non-impaired society should be forced to operate within the limitations of a person that has an impairment.
With that said, it should be known that a large percentage of people that have gender dysphoria (men that think that they should be a woman) have a mental disorder. Obviously it would be severely incorrect to try to humiliate a mentally disturbed individual, but it would also be wrong to further confuse the person into thinking that their behavior is normal. Furthermore, I am not sure of what word should be used to described the people that want to help a person permanently alter there bodies based on an idea that is coming from a person that has an alternate view of reality.

Recently I learned that a young lady thought that the abortion that she recently had was a type of routine practice. At this time I do not have much evidence that I can present, but I will say that nefarious people are manipulating emotional vulnerable girls into thinking that what they are doing is just removing a 'growth from there bodies'. I pray for the women that have been tricked, also I pray for the counselors that have also been bamboozled into thinking that they are championing women's health care. Also I pray for the people that rationally look at the situation and knowingly deceive people into thinking that living human beings are not being affected. I thank GOD that those actions will soon be judged by The KING of the Universe, and I also know that GOD will judge the actions of those people and HE will show them the same Grace and Mercy that I have been shown...and for this I thank GOD
