WOW THESE ARE AMAZING LOOKING ANIMALS. They were relatives of the modern elephants that we all know and love a lot but they have some different things about them. The trunk is much shorter but the animals seem much bigger than our elephants so maybe the leaves they ate were up really high but they didnt need to reach far with a trunk and over time that had to change. The tusks are the coolest part to me they do not face the front like our modern elephants but face the animal. I wonder why this is it seems like it would be a lot safer if they faced the other way. They are also on the bottom according the wikipedia page instead of on the top jaw like modern elephants.
Read the wikipedia if you like them it has LOTS of good information on the species as far as we currently know about them. I found the image on google image search it was the second or third one and i liked that it had a person in it so you can see how big and long these animals are.
