1. Distilled Spirits AKA Moonshine–Hard Freakin’ Alcohol!
2. Ammunition. The Silver Bullet of Currency
3. Soap. This gives money laundering a whole new meaning
4. Tobacco and Cannabis. Smoke ’em if you got ’em
5. Dried Food, especially whole beans and corn

Never thought of soap as a good currency but as long as that stuff stays dry it will probably last forever.

Soap is money in some places. I read that Tide has become so valuable that trucks transporting it are increasingly getting hijacked.
But after the PMs, water, food, & ammo stock, I started thinking about toilet paper. TP is in huge demand in remote locations that can't get it. Trouble is, it takes up too damn much ROOM!
