This has been going on for years secretly but its a scary reality where TPTB are now officially legislating it.  I guess they have brainwashed the population down enough to where they feel they can now do it openly.  Scary world we are living in.

These laws encompass any US companies with operations in the UK.  Apples, Facebook, Microsoft, Twitter, Google, etc.

These bills also prevent companies from quietly sliding encryption in as Apple has in the past.
