private school is your right, but it is bad for society.

somewhere between the ideal of not paying for any education, and the state indoctrinating your children, there must be room for common sense public education. reading, writing, arithmetic and the study of humanities; art and cultures. private schools are a large culprit in creating false barriers within society. if you segregate out kids because they have money, you are taking funds away from public education as a whole - while if you are segregating kids based on ability, you are taking away those children who may be best suited to be of assistance to the children that have different abilities, or that struggle with particular issues. The benefit of different kids being around one another is two-fold; those with particular abilities are able to share knowledge and skill with others, and by having people of different backgrounds and abilities together children are able to realize the most important sameness of humans. i am not saying one does not have the right to put their children into private schools. only that if they do they are being inconsiderate of society as a whole, and necessarily hurting public education - and in turn, the public. what the ruling class wants is to indoctrinate the masses in poor public education, while the elite class utilizes their extremely well funded private educational system to both give them their education and their sense of justification in their sense of superiority.

I have no problem with private schools as long as they are NOT funded with public money.

Public Education is what made America great in the 50's & 60's. Now we have Betsy DeVos from the Amway fortune stealing education away from America in a conscious effort to make America Dumb enough to vote for them.
