Productivist is a new manufacturing platform that makes use of blockchain technology. Productivist users will be able to make use of the vast community of manufacturers all over the world to get their products 3D printed. Productivist isn’t exactly a new platform either. Instead, it is an extension of Freelabster, a European based 3D printing platform that was established in 2016. Freelabster has had a significant amount of success—it was able to grow to the point where it was available in 10 European countries. It was also available in 7 different languages. The Freelabster team decided that they could take their product global with the use of a blockchain. Having access to relatively cheap, quick manufacturing could change manufacturing for companies around the world. Being able to get local manufacturing at the fraction of the price of major corporations would allow businesses to be able to reinvest additional resources into their own companies. Here’s how Productivist could change how manufacturing works.

Why Is Productivist An Upgrade Over Current Manufacturing Processes?

The current manufacturing process is slow, inefficient, and expensive. Most companies have to send their manufacturing orders to big corporations, who aren’t accountable when it comes to materials used or tracking orders from manufacturing through the shipping process. Productivist changes all of that. Because there is a wide range of manufacturers to choose from, companies can pick the manufacturer that best fits their needs and budget. And with blockchain technology, companies will be able to track their orders all the way through the supply chain.

Looking At The Productivist Team

The Productivist whitepaper states that the team was “built around the expertise of the Freelabster founders,” and “hand-picked” by Benjamin Pestel for their “exceptional technical and legal skills.” Here are several key members of the Productivist team:

• Benjamin Pestel, Co-founder, and CEO
• Stanislas Gobert, Co-founder, and CTO
• Melissa Ibghi, Co-founder, and CLO
• Mazen Gharbi, Co-founder, and Full Stack Engineer
• Alvaro Canton, Co-founder, and Head of Communications
• Martha Scott, Strategy and Business Development

This is the team that investors can trust to guide the project through the token sale and to success on the open market. They have the experience to deal with competition from other platforms and expansion outside of the European continent.

The Productivist team has already done a tremendous job of making others aware of their project (https://bountyhive.io/join/Productivist). Productivist is already one of the most interesting platforms in crypto. But manufacturers around the world are also watching how the project launches. If Productivist has success and is able to grow its business outside of Europe, watch out. It could become one of the top crypto projects in 2018 because it has real demand and a legitimate use case. The Productivist team has already proven that it can expand, as it did in Europe over the past two years. Productivist will likely begin working with companies in the crypto space, helping them manufacture products. But over time, Productivist could begin servicing “mainstream” companies as well. This project has a ton of potential, and there will be a lot of people following it this year.
