Review on the New Twinkies

I went to a big box store to pick up some ink last night to make me a Steemit tank to wear around to help promote the platform and while I was walking through the store these two boxes caught my eye on the shelf. I just had to bring them home to try them and give a review on them. I normally avoid process foods but occasionally I like Twinkies. I have tried the different filling ones with the regular angel cake before but only like the banana one out of those. So I was excited to try these.

Chocolate Cake with a creamy filing and chocolate cake filled with peanut butter.

Out of the two these were my favorite, they reminded me of a ding dong without the outer icing or of a Little Debbie's Swiss Roll Cake without the outer icing. It was good the cake was moist and the creamy filling tasted fresh.

I honestly didn't care for this one. The cake was moist it was the filling I didn't like, it tasted like a cheap peanut butter that was old. I took one bite and did not eat the rest of it because I did not care for it at all. My husband said he thought it tasted weird too, but he ate the rest of mine after eating his.

I haven't bought Twinkies of any kind in a while but I swear they have gotten smaller.

Though I liked the chocolate with creamy filling Twinkies I still prefer the angel food cake ones with either the creamy filling or the banana filling.
