Description: 3,000 years old and native to north-western Syria, Aleppo soap is a natural soap made from olive oil.
Composition: up to 30% olive oil. After saponification of the olive oil, laurel berry oil is added.
Strengths: olive oil makes the soap very gentle and skin-friendly, while bay leaf oil is known for its soothing and antiseptic properties. Aleppo soap thus prevents the skin from drying out.
Beneficial effects: Aleppo soap is good for the body, face and scalp. The higher the concentration of laurel oil, the more suitable the soap is for acneic, very dry skin and helps fight dandruff on the scalp.
