Positive and negetive impact of internet

We are living in the modern era, which is also known as digital era. World that is full of advance technologies. And internet is one of highly used technology. But this advancement has some positive and negative impacts. In forth coming paragraphs light will be thrown on both the views.

Let’s discuss the positive impact first. The very first positive impact is that it gives immense knowledge. Secondly we can get information about anything, which is just one click away. Thirdly it has made life easy for everyone. Fourthly with help of internet we can solve big issues in within no time. Fifthly it has helped a lot to make people familiar with other cultures and traditions. Sixth positive thing is that it is a good source of learning and teaching. It has served society in real manner.

In above paragraphs we discussed the positive impacts of internet. Now let’s discuss the negative impacts of internet.

The very first negative impact is that it given a great contribution to make people lazy. People know that they will get information from internet, that’s why they have stopped reading books, gaining knowledge and experience. People have stopped trying new things and exploring new experiences Secondly internet has made people more dependent on it. Thirdly, it gives knowledge about everything, so this side has some negative impact also that an individual open internet to search something and he searches something else which is not good for him or her. Fourthly internet has also made people couch potatoes. It is again major reason of obesity and this way the cycle of health issues starts and goes on. Crime has also increased due to high usage of internet, which is fifth negative impact of internet.

To conclude I would say that the technology has been meant for betterment of human being, if he will make a use of it then it would be fruitful other if a man would make a misuse of it then it may lead some disaster. And apart from that internet should be used for limited time so that iyt may not impact one’s health.
