Today I will speak about the first famous program languages in the world. I wish you a lot of fun!!
Fortran
There are three commencing coding languages. In the 19th century the country there invented all of the initial languages is called USA. The first program language was Fortran. Probably many People knowledge this language but the fewest know, that the program language was born 1954. Despite of nearly sixty years, Fortran is still to be found in all sorts of places today. The Inventor was John W. Backus. Fortran is a general-purpose imperative programming language that especially suited to scientific computing and numeric computation. The Name was build from the first three words of FORmula and the first four words from TRANslation. Fortran was from the beginning as a numeric language providet and optimized.
Lisp
The name from the second program language which I will show you is Lisp. Lisp is a family of program languages and would 1958 specified from the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Lisp is based on Lambda-Kalkül and following Fortran is it, the second oldest program language there will used until today. Lisp was the first program leaguage that knew a real if instruction. The US developer Eric S. Raymond once said: "Lisp is a learning language even if you will never use it. The gain in knowledge leads to becoming a generally better developer.
COBOL
Common Business Oriented Language or short Cobol was invented in 1959 from Grace Hopper. The name Cobol is made up to the first letter of every word with the exception of the first word. Here will use the first two letters. The style is nearly based on the natural language and is mainly used for the programming of commercial applications. Cobol was always considered extinct but it came back again and again. The reason for the resurrection are especially the maintenance of programs.
I hope you could all understand :-D. I would be very happy to receive a review or suggestion on a new topic. Until the next time!! Bye
