The upcoming film "Prohelika," featuring Mahfuz Ahmed and Bubly, is scheduled to release in six cities across Australia on August 5. In two of these cities, the tickets for the film's first week have already been sold out. The international distribution of the film is being handled by Deshi events and Poth Productions.
Sayed Foyez, the owner of Deshi events, expressed that the film will be showcased in six Australian cities. He mentioned that all the tickets for the first week screenings in Sydney and Melbourne have been completely sold out. Foyez remains optimistic about the film's performance in theaters and stated that if they receive a positive response, they plan to increase the number of halls and showtimes in those cities.
Directed by Chayanika Chowdhury, "Prohelika" marks Mahfuz Ahmed's comeback to the silver screen after an 8-year hiatus. The film has received a favorable response in theaters thus far. Apart from Ahmed and Bubly, the movie also features Nasir Uddin Khan, Rashed Mamun Apu, A K Azad Shetu, Rahmat Ali, Sabiha Zaman, and others in prominent roles.
