Introduction

Hey Steemians, Dylan here.

As a bit of personal background, I’m a professional Mechanical Engineer with a passion for:

1. 3D Animation;
2. Filmmaking;
3. Science Fiction;
4. Music writing;
5. Crypto-blockchain-decentralised tech. (every sane person’s passion, surely).

I want to do something that brings these passions together.

Project

For the past few months I've been working on a script and preproduction of a Science-Fiction CG-animated series which I’m ready to take to the production phase.

I want to fund, produce, document and distribute this project entirely on the blockchain.

I've selected the Steemit platform for this project because there’s a strong and positive community here that I’d like see flourish.

This project is my contribution to the Steemit community.

As this is a self-funded project any support would be most appreciated.

Please be assured that any funds raised on Steemit will be used for production costs only (I can publish the books if the contributions become significant or if the community requests it).

Get Involved

If you have a relevant skillset (e.g. modeller; animator; storyboard, lookdev or concept artist; character designer; score composer, sound engineer, or Foley artist) you can also be a part of the project (rewarded in Steem); which I’ll cover in a in a future post.

Updates

I will post on Steemit 1 to 2 times a week with updates from various stages of production, lessons learnt or behind the scenes content. I’ll make these updates exclusive to Steemit.
