Over 1 Million Dollars worth of SBD at todays prices generated by #promo-steem posts
Yes, it's true. Based on today's price, the value of the payouts in SBD generated by the #promo-steem tag in a little over 4 months is now over 1 Million US Dollars!!!
This means that posts which have used the #promo-steem tag now earn an average of $44 each.
I've just come off my second skype call in two days with @stephenkendal, @starkerz and our awesome new designer (I'll let her introduce herself!). In fact @starkerz and I have spent 10 hours since yesterday morning talking about #promo-steem and what's happening behind the scenes, with the guild system, cryptocurrency show and all sorts of other awesome things that are happening, both here and around the world.
We are blown away at the meteoric rise which continues day by day of the tag, and we hope to be able to bring you some great news about the solutions we've been developing behind the scenes.
And in the next few days, we will be releasing the @steem-ambassador profiles for the community to support (or reject) who will be the eyes and ears of the #promo-steem community, responsible for making sure that great quality promotional activities are being well rewarded.
We are seeing a huge volume of promotional activity coming from posts around the world, particularly from Africa, Indonesia and the Philippines, and we are so pleased that folks from these nations are seeing the value of being voluntaryist promoters, and the effect that this can have in their lives.
It's amazing to see that this tag is doing great work in supporting people all around the world, especially in developing countries. We are absolutely made up, but would like to remind you that this is just the start. Can you imagine where we will be in a years time?

(Who's the stats nerd now @anarcotech. ) I love this post - I've just been chatting on Discord about how Steemit is significantly changing lives in the Philippines and yesterday I heard the same from Nigeria. I also have a great idea I need to share with you and if executed it will propel the promo-steem tag to number 70 in ranking faster than my earlier prediction..... which obviously means more SBD Payouts for those working in the "promo-steem tag arena"!!

I will always make a steemit. and I think it's an obligation to fix the steemit to everyone. besides being able to share knowledge by stacking steemit we can help them in finances, especially in developing countries there is still a lot of poverty

Absolutely. This is part of the story we are telling. Not only does the #promo-steem tag help every Steemian by growing the price of STEEM, but the results are being felt more in the developing world. Where often people live on less than $2 per day, an average post payout of $44 means keeps them for almost a month!!!

My teams and I are promoting steemit to the students, we are believe, the promo-steem to the students community needs to be done by massively. In the last 5 days our team has been promoting steemit to 42 students--17 of them are have steemit account. They were agreed to be volunteer steemit promoters to their friends in the schools.
