The Bible passage above is one of the most popularly quoted verse in the Bible, and it was not included in the scriptures for nothing. For it carries so much weight than just a mare word.

Year after years, we keep adding age to our age and as a result we are getting closer to our time of expiration, that's the time we all go back to where we all came from

To every product manufactured by the manufacturer, their is an expiring date encrypted on it, the product becomes useless no matter how valuable when it is expired

The question I'm asking myself is this. "does birthday worthy of celebrating? "

Hmmm, the answer is both yes and no.

Celebrating it would help us to put our heart on the path of wisdom and that would help us to know that we are getting closer to our death as each year come and go

It will also help us to know when to get certain things done in our lives. For instance, you would be uncomfortable to remain single at certain age.

But, the key point is that, the more we live the more we are dying

I'm not preaching this to scare either myself or anyone else, but to apply our heart to the path of wisdom as the word of God advised us.

When man sin in the book of Genesis, God cursed man not to exceed 120 years but when David was troubled, he reduced the years to 70 years and 80 years by grace, probably to get oneself free from the problems of old age.

Whether 70,80 or 120 years, with my day celebrated today, another year has been subtracted from my God intended number of years. Hmmmm

I'm getting closer to my grave than I was last year. The same goes to you.

what have you been doing with your time on earth? What do you intend to still do with it? It's better you start now, because the more we live, the more we are dying.
