Hello wonderful people of steemit, it is yet another great day to be alive and I for one feel so happy to be among this community. I believe in this festive season, we are expected to give out gifts.That is why today, I want to share with you all an idea that came up during a conversation with @mcsamm , @richforever ,@tj4real ,@anaman and myself. It is to create more awareness for steemit.com as we have been doing but this time on a larger scale and it involves everyone.
Let us face the fact that there are people here on steemit with huge reputations on Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram and many other social media platforms.
The goal here is to carry out a 7-day challenge to convert most of those followers we have on other social media platforms to steemians. I believe steemit to be a place where everyone can fit in by showing the world who they really are and in turn get rewarded for their efforts. It is only fair if we share this opportunity to the rest of the world and here is how I suggest it should be done.
STEP ONE
Let us start with a simple selfie and edit the selfie with a text boldly one side stating your steemit username(@username) and today’s date.Please do not to tag the steemit community on facebook.
STEP TWO
Post this selfie on the various social media platforms you are a part of including steemit with a captivating caption which may be like “ Don’t just waste time on the internet, join me and several people on steemit. The social media that pays “ . Something short and precise like this will do for the caption. Facebook, Instagram and twitter must be a must.
STEP THREE
Make a post(It doesn’t have to be very long) about this adventure daily and comment with the link of your post on my daily updates I will be making on this exercise from now till January 10th. In your post, there must be links of your selfie posts from other platforms to help other steemians visit and leave positive comments so people can fall in love with the idea of being a steemian.
STEP FOUR
Do well to reply anyone who comments on how to join the steemit platform. Show them what you have learnt so far and together, we will grow.
This is it for today and I really hope more people will get on-board with this challenge. Who knows, maybe we could reach out to 10,000 or even a million people within this week with this. Please resteem this so more steemians can get the chance to participate.We have all benefitted a lot from STEEMIT.INC and we paid nothing to get started.
