I think you're at the wrong place to ask that.

Given the length of the comment section it's not surprising that it can be CPU intensive.

You should have specified what hardware you're using.

    1. They've asked for feedback, so I am providing it here, why it is wrong place?

    2. There are no comments on their site, it is the site they ask to comment on, not the steemit.

    3. The bandwidth stat I am giving is not related to hardware. Other pages show instantly.

      Interestingly enough, the current Steemit page with hundreds of comments loads within seconds and takes less than 300kB bandwidth.
