The more upvotes they get the more funding they have to do good work bringing new people to Steemit. Which in turn means more people investing and writing more posts, and upvotes, then more the price of Steem rises for everyone! #winforall

Im very honored to have been chosen by @StephenKendal and some of the guys from the @promo-uk team to become a member of the team. I look forward to meeting the rest of the guys in due course.

Myself and @stephenkendal had a really interesting Skype chat earlier this evening about the position and my role. Stephen explained that they needed someone to head up #promoleeds, distributing flyers, T-Shirts, and other promo materials. I explained since I first heard about Steemit and got my head around exactly what it is I instantly saw the potential in it and wanted to be a part of promoting it.

We discussed my background as a 26 year old Entrepreneur with skills in Digital Marketing. I work for myself full time selling my own branded supplements on Amazon UK Spain, Germany, Italy and France. I am looking to branch out to the USA , Canada and Japan very soon.

As part of this journey I have earned a place on Entrepreneurial Spark (Espark) which is an incubator/hatchery for new businesses funded by Natwest that runs all across the UK. My reason for explaining this to you all is that we have access to meeting rooms and conferencing facilities which come in very handy for doing Facebook Live video streams, public talks, and explainer video recording.

It is also a great place for networking, and it's where I met @tomasgeorge who is a pro at creating video, audio and music production.

Along with the flyering and Me and Tomas are planning to partner up and create Youtube + DTube videos about Steemit and promote them through Ads. We are also looking at doing a live Steemit talk at the Espark "Hub", where we can put tickets out on Eventbrite then livestream the feed to Cryptocurrency and Student Groups on Facebook.

We both have a piece of software called Screenshare, that has the capability to record both screens from a skype call along with the screen of the computer if we are googling something during the call. This is really useful when explaining how steemit works to an audience.

I have a professional Podcast microphone and audio interface and would like to interview some people from Steemit on a pre-recorded show that can be uploaded to Itunes. (Let me know in the comments if you would be interested in this).

Other Ideas myself and Stephen brainstormed were;

• Encouraging high net worth individuals, celebrities and pension funds to invest in Steemit (netting them a return, and everyone else a raise in the price of Steem. Plus utilising their audience to increase Steem user numbers)

• Reach out to the Made In Leeds TV Channel to do a piece on Steemit. I know one of the hosts, and know other people who have appeared on it, so it shouldnt be too difficult as they are always looking for content.

• At LeedsFest there was a plane trailing a banner. This is called Aerial Advertising and starts from £595+V.A.T per hour. But with a potential reach of 75,000 people if we do it at another festival that works out at 0.009p per view.
