So it begins....... This is the start of the floor install on the other side of the great room. I had some left over tile from the entry, and I started by dry laying these tiles to get a feel for how it would look. I wanted to be sure that I was laying full tiles at the patio door. In the actual install there will be a small notch cut in the first tile to match to the door jamb. This is more of a utility entrance where I bring in firewood, or when I am working in the back yard. So this tile will be just a simple layout with black mortar.
I just got off the phone with the tile store and the extra tile that I am short are ordered and on there way!

You know there is really something special about tile, it has a rich look........and I found that my Baby Mountain lion loves to sleep on these; tiles they must feel good to him LOL! :)
