Using off-state keys and on-state keys in online pseudonym parties

in proofofpersonhood •  7 years ago

In online pseudonym parties, perhaps an off-state set of keys could be used both for encrypting the video stream, and for the selfie-videos that "commit" each person to a pseudonym party.

That would remove the trace between the on-state identities and off-state signatures, two mirror universes more or less but with no cryptographic links.

The handshake in the communication channels could be with on-state keys, and off-state keys are then exchanged, that authenticate and encrypt all video data, still provable to the people who are interacting with one another, tough without any on-state proof of any subjective data.

interesting post once again thanks for sharing your knowledge :)

Nice buddy thanks for the update :)

can this be implemented on steem blockchain for instance

No it needs more transactions per second than blockchains have, 5 billion+ people need to verify one another at the same time. I've been looking at BitLattice, for a year or so now. It uses a lattice to store transaction links (hashes) instead of a chain, and lattices have intrinsic properties that make it easier to shard (see Vitaliks ideas about Ethereum 2.0 from 2014), since mathematical proofs could be built using "proof-of-structure".
