After the Party is Before the Party | Countdown to PsyFi Festival 2018 in NL

It seems I have hardly arrived back in my usual routines and work after the mighty ten days at Ozora festival Hungary and a week of resetting... and the universe is already dragging me to Psyfi festival today, my final gathering for this summer with the psychedelic tribe in Western Europe 2018 from all over the Earth.

This is a mental note by myself for myself to be ready for a major growing- and learning-experience after the rough-nature week in Hungary this summer.

"We don't really dance, we friends"

Psyfi festival is different from the others in that the floors will be shut down at night due to the close proximity to what people sometimes refer to as "civilization" - the nearest town is only hundreds of meters away from the festival grounds, and this year 13k hippies, shamans and psychonauts will be celebrating the festival season's coming to a slow close with this mighty get-together to learn, grow and focus on ourselves.

As in previous years, I hope to meet some of the local people walking their dog through the city park where the festival is located, because it always makes for interesting conversations about the scene and society in general. And what value psychedelic exploration carries for human beings.

Where Ozora is a party for and about the mainfloor, at Psyfi people it's more about meeting new people and building some interesting bridges to newfound (longlost) friends. Due to the proximity to the town, the floors will adhere to an 8-hour music stop at the biggest floors, which leads to most of the festival going to bed at similar times every night.

Or as I may put it: Energetically we are all on the same rhythm here.

"So what sort of psychedelic experience would you like Sir?"

Another thing that is special about Psyfi festival is that the local smartshop is setting up base right on the festival grounds. Yes, you can legally buy psychedelic truffles and other shamanic herbs and tools AT the store ON the festival, where employees answer any question pertaining to the sort of trip you would like to take, as well as where the different varieties of truffles shine on the perceptual spectrum.

As has become quite normal in the last few years: Less is more. One small pack of truffles should last me the whole week, I do prefer the mild doses at festivals with all these lovely and colorful people.

Many new floor lessons are coming I'm sure, and I will be thrilled to share them here after returning from this last excursion into the mind with the tribe from all the corners of the Earth.

I will set Steemit again to autoposting and read up on your comments after I return.

"Yes, you can legally buy psychedelic truffles"

Haha I envy that lol.

I agree with you that small doses are best around crowds. I tried to go to a crowded movie once on a pretty big dose of mushrooms and I had to get up and leave before the movie started because things were getting way to intense to be in public lol. I also had kind of a bad weed "trip" after eating too many brownies at an amusement park too.

Just got back <3
Your comment inspired my next article massively, as the myriad of experience is just so vast and the effects of mild doses among a largely conscious crowd are amazingly interesting.
Naturally, there were many experiences, hangups to work through and human surprises to be had. Will think of some way to relay that in language in the next days

Thank you <3

Nice. Well I look forward to reading it.

Ahhh you are going - I was thinking about to go yesterday - but I decided not to - but next year :) -- have a great time!!!

It's bound to happen and we'll go dancing somewhere.
It was fantastic - though more in self-reflective ways than in terms of "mere" celebration. A shamanic experience indeed and definitely worth your presence next year if they stay on course <3

well done bro, very nice.
