Denver Moving Magic Mushroom, the next Amsterdam?

in psychedelic •  6 years ago  (edited)

I am a cannabis user but I also want to dabble in some psychedelic euphoric amusement. Under strict guise lines though and with a buddy that you trust, having a bad trip is nasty or so I heard.

But look at what Denver is up to. The decision by Denver voters last week to decriminalize psychedelic mushrooms marked a significant shift in the debate over legalizing illegal drugs—which up to this point revolved entirely around marijuana.

Denver becomes the first major American city to decriminalize another controlled substance, after 21 states, including Colorado, either decriminalized, legalized, or allowed small amounts of marijuana, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

Drug policy experts disagree on whether the results of the Denver referendum on psychedelic mushrooms mark a domino for more legalization efforts, however. I also disagree this won’t open doors to real illegal drugs. Marijuana and these mushrooms are all 100% Mother Nature made. She takes care of us with her own medications.

We just need every other state to do this and have their eyes and ears open, this stuff is a medication for your body.

What are your thoughts?
