Man has the right to enjoy himself. But as much as he is, there is something that humans can never avoid. The pain in life, the pain, cannot escape. It is a simple truth that anyone should admit if they think a little about it. But ordinary people cannot admit it. Of course. It is a natural instinct to want to be happy with humans. Who wants to accept the fact that they cannot avoid suffering? Pain is coming to great stress soon. Why should I get the stress? Stress is a fear for them. But what can I do? Even these thoughts that try to avoid suffering are also pain.. They are already suffering. Maybe they just can't take it, knowing that pain is part of their lives.

This book is for these people. Maybe it's a book for most of us. Man is not tormented by pain. The book says that pain is only a pain because it is called pain, and in fact it is a friend who helps us to realize ourselves.

We have been brought up with a lot of social tradition and ideas from our childhood surroundings. And I have lived by practicing what I have learned. Therefore, humans live by giving up a lot of things under the pressure of not going against the standards they have built. Ironically, the theories that we brainwashed for happiness from such a young age are rather painful. [Dark Side of The Light Chasers] says that happiness and pain are not separate thing. For overcoming that brainwashed ideas from an early age, it says we must accept those ideas that we deny so much so that we can be 'complete human' and be happy. We live without knowing how great we are as we think we are.

In our mind all that is inherent, positive or negative. However, depending on the environment in which they live, some parts are activated and others are suppressed. The truth is that all those aspects have their own pros and cons. But if we can get rid of it through that oppression, it is absolutely impossible. We all need a broader perspective. For example, is it just bad to be stubborn? or you say "I'm not a ~~~~~ person," can you guarantee? It's a matter for everyone to think about.

A book tells us that life opens for us when we embrace a personal aspects that we never admit, or something called a shadow. So, how can you recognize your shadow better? It says that I should observe how I feel about people around us. My opponent's cons is actually my cons, and so is my pros. The mirror that others will soon shine on me. We must realize that we can really approach God's providence when we realize that we are one of those invisible strings that are not really different from you.

I also reflect on the past years of suppressing much of me and evaluating me with the formula "I am ~~~." Embracing all the shadows may not be an easy task, but we must move on. We all wish to wake up Superman inside and I'd like to recommend this book to the people around us. Finish the book review by writing a favorite passage in the book.

Robert Bly, a poet and author, describes the shadow as 'the invisible bag we each carry'. Bly says that as we grow up, we put all of our own aspects into the bag, which family and friends can't accept, the first few decades of our lives have spent filling it like that, and the rest of our time trying to take it out again.
