Patience, An Art That Only Can Be Learned By Ourselves

in psychology •  7 years ago

Prolific thinker Confucius once said that whoever does not have patience upon the little problems of life, when the great difficulties arrive, will feel blocked, incapable of reacting.

Patience is a virtue that not everyone knows or can manage or encourage.

In the same way, silence is that vigorous capacity that also goes hand to hand with patience in order to be silent, and thus being able to listen to others and, in exchange, to find a space where we can softly lecture ourselves by disbanding the rumor of our environment.

Now, to keep silent is not to bow, it is not to hide an opinion for fear of the aftermath. It is more about keeping silent than what is not worthwhile and keeping silent when sensibility speaks.

Both patience and silence are two key elements of our personal growth, and therefore, we invite you to reflect on these crucial aspects of our everyday.

Patience, an art that only can be learned by ourselves

Almost nobody teaches us that, when we come to this world, things do not happen as we want, Nor does anything encourage us that, no matter how hard we try, it will happen or that what we expect will happen.

They say that patience is spiritual but in reality, it is a craft that is acquired over time, based on some disappointment, based on that learning life teaches us by might and not through manuals.

Being patient requires, above all, not surrendering, not giving up. If something does not happen as we desire, we should not quit that purpose, for patience is also calm and trusting.

Patient people know how to discover, think in silence, attend to their atmosphere and develop their intuition to discover which is the best opportunity to act.

Whoever is not able to remove the external noise, the negative thoughts and the defeatist opinions of other people and of themselves will never reach their goals.

For being patient also requires having that wisdom that knows what to escape and what paths to follow.

If we have a dream, we should not let others turn it off with their stoicism and with phrases like "stop thinking about that because your train has already passed".

Patient folks know how to position themselves in the best wagon of life. In that where the best trains always pass, although they take, although they are delayed.

Any wait will be worth it because, while we wait, we develop other skills: perseverance, courage, resilience and above all ... HOPE.

In the same way, silence is that vigorous capacity that also goes hand in hand with patience to be silent, so that we can listen to others and, in turn, find a space where we can sermonize gently as we dissolve the rumor of our environment.

Funnily enough I have always thought that patience is strongly linked to silence and faith,* I understand that it may seem like a mistaken concept, but I am one of those people who feels that they must wait in silence and with certainty in their hearts for things to take a different direction.

Patients know how to position themselves in the best car of their lives. That's where the best trains always pass, even if they take, even if they're late.

Patience is a virtue that we learn over time, this helps us to educate ourselves and have better choices, I believe that opportunities always present themselves, but not everyone knows how to choose correctly, impatiently, ignorantly and for rushing to choose what really is not in our destination, is an excellent reflection, I thank you for your beautiful words, excuse my mistakes with English, I only speak Spanish and use a translator, happy weekend.

These lines lead me to a reflection .... the interesting thing of any situation is to find the point of equilibrium.
