The Behavior Analyst Certification Board has run into some difficulty of late with the National Commission for Certifying Agencies. Why? Because the BACB was not complying with NCCA requirements relating to consumer input. This is not isolated incident. When I raised serious abuse and fraud allegations relating to a BACB certificate holder, the BACB hid behind its lawyers and did everything it could think of to engage in inaction. To give the reader a taste of this consumer's frustration, see this call I had with the BACB's legal department.
Based on this phone call, does the Behavior Analyst Certification Board act like an organization that cares about the very consumers it promises in its mission statement to protect?
