Self love

"Love is the active concern for life and the growth of what we love."
Erich Fromm
Current psychology has established that there is a healthy attitude in accepting and valuing ourselves unconditionally, in valuing ourselves for the simple fact of being alive and wanting to enjoy life and be better every day, with a desire to search excellence but without worrying obsessively if it is not achieved, because it is not about being perfect but about learning from the inevitable mistakes, without despising ourselves when we commit them and without seeking our value in what we have: fame, money, prestige , beauty, power, success, admiration, reputation, love, but in what we are, what we are capable of creatively giving to the world. That would be true enrichment and the source of joy and enjoyment of life. But how many of us have reached that state and how many of us are making a real effort to achieve it?
