It’s confounding that so many people—especially progressives—are so threatened by the idea that humans are not born as blank slates. It’s a good thing that each human is not a blank slate. That means that people—not just will be different—but must be different. And that’s a good thing because diversity in the species is good—at least according to progressives.
If humans were blank slates, that would mean we could all be molded to be the same—which may be the true motive progressives have in preserving the idea of the blank slate. It’s not just about equality and egalitarianism. Progressives want to mold all of society into being progressives in their image—something that can only be accomplished with blank slates.
The Cathedral certainly tries to do this by training children to be State-worshipping progressives from an early age at public schools, then through the universities, and finally through the corporate media. Many people fall in line—but not all (thankfully).
Since humans are not blank slates, all of society can never be molded to be the same. Not every German became a Nazi, and not every Russian became a Communist—but those who opposed the State were imprisoned or killed.
There will always be dissidents because people will always be different. That doesn’t mean anybody can be anything. But you can be you. And you are unique. And that is good.
