I haven't done a TOR Diaries post is a few months but since I'm going to be late for work I might as well make the most of my frustration. I rarely work a short evening shift but I usually don't mind because at least I can take the 97. Now the first bus to leave from Stony Point is always late because the driver is always 20 minutes late when I take it home from the Palisades Center. So when when I'm waiting that long I think nothing of it but today it never came.
There is no communication from TOR. They only post transit alerts if a detour is going on or if buses aren't running on account of the weather. I asked the driver and he said he didn't know what happened. Once again people from the northern portion of the county gets shafted. Taking a cab or Lyft is over $20 and since I expected the bus to be late it wasn't worth calling for one.
Looks like I might make it in the nick of time but I hate rushing.
