So the video I'm editing is a Black Crappie fishing video I took while fishing for prespawn fish on a private pond from a boat while using rosie reds and shiners no weight and a small treble hook. Success was pretty high that evening considering crappie in this pond are not an easy target, I fish this pond regularly and if you get 5 crappies in a 4-5 hour fishing session you are pretty successful. I managed to pull 12 or so crappies out.
In non fishing related news my Atlantic Giant Pumpkin vine its getting to the point where it may be too big for its pot, I will likely be purchasing a larger pot or round tupperware container to get through May, I dug out the place I will be growing the pumpkin and laid down some fish parts from the video and filled in the hole with well decomposed sheep manure (7-10 years old the good stuff) should be able to water the pumpkin effectively and it will recieve plenty of sun. Im hoping for a 200-300 pound pumpkin.
