The Acceptable TDS level of drinking water is upto 500 PPM. But TDS of at least 80 ppm is the accepted minimum level.
What is TDS? Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). Inorganic and organic substances contained in water like bacterias, Magnesium, Chlorine, etc. Total dissolved solids are normally discussed only for freshwater systems, as salinity includes some of the ions constituting the definition of TDS.
There is no minimum TDS limit defined for any form of water. The lesser the TDS the better. Here is a chart to understand the TDS level better.
