Just discovered a great VPN for Linux...

I am working a lot from a laptop with Ubuntu installed nowadays and I really love it. Truth be told, I frequently use Linux and Ubuntu on my Windows computer as well. It has both operating systems installed, but somehow, I find it so much easier and cooler to work with my Ubuntu system than Windows, and thus, I use Ubuntu instead.

I have gotten very much used to operating different VPN clients using the Ubuntu command line, but I also know that many people fear using the command line. It feels good to know that there are VPN providers that can be used in Ubuntu right now that don't require you to use the command line at all. Even though it feels kind of nerdy and cool to use the command line, it is still a fact that many people who use Linux because it is free, don't want to feel like nerds, they just want a free operating system that feels and looks like Windows.

But, which is the great new VPN that I discovered for Linux? It is PureVPN.
This is a good old VPN that has been around for a long time. I really remember the days in which it had a terrible reputation, but that has changed a lot in the last 5-6 years and now they are working hard to be a cutting edge VPN. That can clearly be seen as you try their VPN client for Linux which is the only I have used that can be installed and used without using the command line at all.

If you want to learn more about PureVPN, I really recommend that you take a look at the articles above. They will both give you lots of information about PureVPN, about the VPN service in itself, and also what it is like to use it on Linux systems.

Do you get it? Linux doesn't have to be nerdy at all, especially not when you have VPN clients such as PureVPN available.

I will do more testing of PureVPN soon, including speed tests, and also do more testing of their Windows client. Come back later for more articles, screenshots, and interesting PureVPN information.
