in puzzles •  2 years ago

In continuing recognition of STEM Saturday #10 on the Steem blockchain, here is another word search with 21 words from the post by @sarahjay1, NOAA discovered mysterious rows of holes in the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Words may be found in any of the following directions:

  • left to right
  • right to left
  • top to bottom
  • bottom to top

All words have five letters or more.

As before, no matter how many you find, please post just one word per person in the comments. You may also wish to report on how many you were able to find and how long it took.

As a reminder, some English words get included by chance when the word search is generated. If a word is not contained in the post, NOAA discovered mysterious rows of holes in the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, then it's not a solution to the puzzle.

Enjoy!

I'll post the word list and locations next week. Puzzle name: PromotePromoterNo10.

I found SCIENTISTS here :

And scientists have found life-rich sponge gardens in the central part of the Arctic Ocean that grow on the remains of a hydrothermal community that disappeared more than two thousand years ago.

The EXPLORATION of the ocean floor often leads to surprising discoveries.

It took me GEOLOGICAL times to find out that Kaiju was not in the options :(

Oh, you're right. That would have been good to include. I think that short and unusual words are usually among the most challenging to find. Sorry I left it out.

I found 2 words but the second was OCEAN and it took me 1 minute for both words

Scientists from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) have discovered long, straight rows of holes on the bottom (about 2.5 kilometers deep) of the Atlantic OCEAN.
