In this video I will give a brief tutorial on defining variables of different data types (i.e. numbers, strings, lists, tuples and dictionaries) in Python 3. Topics covered include how to define variables of types int, float, complex, string, list, tuple and dict. I also showed how to work with index and slicing on variables, as well as how to convert among data types using Python functions such as list(), set(), tuple(). float(), int(), str(), etc. This tutorial was recorded on a Mac running Python 3 in the terminal environment. I will keep uploading more tutorials on Python and Data Science. Enjoy!
